The typical home value compared with the county's, from the same Zillow release. 5: 25% or more below the county. 4: 10–25% below. 3: within 10%. 2: 10–25% above. 1: 25% or more above. It ignores size and condition, so areas with many condos can score higher.
Things to do
One point each for a walkable main street; a regional park, preserve, lake or trail network; a performing-arts venue, museum or historic district; a farmers market or signature annual event; and an entertainment cluster such as tasting rooms, a cinema or a regional shopping center.
Why no safety score
Fair-housing guidance warns agents against labeling areas safe or unsafe. Each community page links to official crime data and to the state's wildfire, flood and earthquake-fault maps instead.
